OUR FAMILY

Kipton and I's marriage journey began in the fall of 2008. After adventuring around the world and serving for a couple years we landed back home to Idaho in 2011, and had our first boy, Wilderness.

Near that time, we began renting this little farm property, with no idea what would unfold.  We cared for it like it was our own and my flower farm dream was planted.

In 2013, we welcomed the next addition to the family, another boy, Couredge!

And then, as life can sometimes have it, we found ourselves in the right place, at the right time.

In 2015, our unspoken dream to own this beautiful slice of heaven on earth, came to fruition. Due to ongoing health issues, the owners decided it was time to sell. They graciously offered us an "off-the-market" deal because we had been such faithful renters and had developed a good report with them over the years. The timing could not have been better and we somehow managed to scrounge up enough funds to secure purchasing the property.

In 2016, our third boy, Arrow, joined the family scene. If you thought we had our hands full before... wow, having 3 energetic young boys was awesome!  Man are we are glad they have room to frolic outside with acres of woods and wilderness to explore.

In late 2017, the prep work for the 2018 growing season began, and we took action steps toward flower farming. The first season, albeit at times rewarding, was indeed challenging. It required figuring out timing, seed starting, planting, harvesting, marketing, arranging, and so much more!

Thankfully, our goal for the first year was very simple: grow flowers to bring (myself) joy.

Do it for me, do it with my family, and don't worry about the rest.

Very rewarding.

Finally, in February 2019, we ushered in our first lady, little miss Nature Rayne. Meanwhile, I also completed Floret’s online flower course, in order to sharpen my growing, designing, and marketing skills.

Our farm continues to come along nicely, slow and steady.

We’ve since modified our motto slightly, after all, what are flowers for? There’s no better way to brighten someone’s day than a bouquet made with love.
